Fresh Soy Face Cleanser
La Roche Posay Effaclar
Origins United State Tonic
Skin Inc. Licorice Serum
Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment
Diapia 24K Gold Snail Gel Eye Patch
Ole Henriksen Ultimate Lift Eye Gel

Seems I have finished a whole lot of products but this is a combination of 2 months. A few are my staples and I am not going to repeat myself. Diapia 24 K Gold Snail Gel Eye Patch is new for me this month. Whenever I don't have enough sleep and my eyes look extra tired in the morning, I pop a pair of these eye patch for 5 mins to give my under eye area a boost to de-puff and for extra hydration.
Anastasia Clear Brow Gel

Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner
Jergens Moisturizer for Wet Skin

I received Jergens Moisturizer for Wet Skin for PR review. To me, it is just a gimmicky product. It is no different than any other body moisturizer. Even I apply it right after shower when my skin is still set, I don't find the lotion being absorbed into my skin much better than other. Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner is my favorite at the moment. It is supposed to be used as a body conditioner, meaning you apply it during shower(you have to turn off the tap and apply the conditioner to your wet skin and let it sit for a few mins and then rinse off). I use this mainly as an enriched hand lotion for night time. That is the only hand lotion which keep my hands moisturized for the entire night. Even though it is such a great product, I am not a big fan of the rose scent. I will keep my eyes out for more new scents for Halloween and Christmas.

Tatcha Obento Box

Tatcha luminous dewy mist

If you are like me, contemplating on a beauty product for so long and finally got it, you would know how much excitement I am experiencing.

I have been eyeing on the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Mist for probably more than a year. Every time I pop into Sephora, I would go to the Tatcha display and spray myself with the incredible mist. But every time I look at the price tag, I just can't justify in spending almost $60 on a facial mist. I have combination skin and even though my face can get a bit greasy on hot summer days, my skin usually crave for some hydration mid-day. Especially during the dry cold winter months, my skin is desperate for some dewiness and some glow.

Tatcha Luminous Dewy Mist is such a luxurious product. It is also the only mist I find that would create that healthy dewy look on my skin which last. Usually the other brands of mist would leave a glow but it would disappear as the mist dries off. But Tatcha lasts throughout the day.

When I see the new gift sets rolling out at Sephora, I saw this new set by Tatcha.

This set contains:
- 1.35 oz/ 40 mL Luminous Dewy Skin Mist
- 0.34 oz/ 10 mL The Water Cream
- 0.34 oz/ 10 mL Violet-C Radiance Mask
- 0.21 oz/ 6 g Gold Spun Camellia Lip Balm

The mist is a full-sized one (alone is CAD $58) and three additional products which I haven't tried and excited to try.

If you are thinking of getting this, you'd better act quick as I know they sell out fast and that is why I didn't wait until the Sephora VIB sale in a couple of months.

Sephora Wish List

Sephora Wish List

When Sep rolls around, a lot of new makeup surfaced. Sephora VIB sale will  be in late fall and it is never too early to make a wish list.

Anything caught your eye?

p.s. I can't resist and already placed an order for the Tatcha set as I have been eyeing on the mist for soooooooo long and last year's set was out of stock most of the time. This set seems like an awesome deal as the full-sized luminous dewy mist alone is CAD $58 already.

First Order from

I have been a big fan of It Cosmetics. I have tried a number of products, both skin care and makeup and none of them disappoint. I usually get mine from The Shopping Channel and that is my only option( will launch in a week). So when I found out about the launch of, I was so happy.

Bye Bye Under Eye concealer has been my holy grail under eye concealer for years. But since I tried their new Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination Anti-aging concealer(courtesy of and fell in love with it. Even though it looks like a tiny tube and cost CAD $32, it lasted me over a year and I use it every single day. I am almost out and The Shopping Channel doesn't always has it in stock. I am so happy that launched at a perfect time for me so I can purchase this.

This is a new product I am eager to try. This is a 3-in-1 Makeup Cleansing Balm.

Delivers 3-in-1:
  • Hydrates, sulfate-free cleanser
  • Purifying instant makeup remover
  • Anti-Aging skin-softening serum
It is a cleansing balm and I am new to this as I always use a cleansing oil to remove my makeup. The texture is quite thick. I use a little more than a pea-sized amount and gently massage my skin to remove my makeup at the end of the day. I have been been using this for a few days and I enjoy this a lot as it does a decent job in removing all my makeup, except my stubborn waterproof mascara. It does not irritate my eyes surprisingly. It leaves my skin hydrated and soft after cleansing.

Free samples and I picked the Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder and CC Cream. I have tried their CC cream and love it. Have yet to try the Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder. offers free shipping with CAD $35 and they ship fast. I received my order within 3 business days and they shipped by Expedited Canada Post. Very happy with my first order and their customer service.

I haven't done OOTD for a long time. This summer, comfort is what I go for. Hasn't been a particular hot summer this year and I can branch out more and not be limited to shorts and skirts all the time.

Top: Split Sleeves Tee from Zaful*
Pants: Winners
Shoes from Vans

Saw this top from and knew instantly that I needed this in my life. Why? Yes, I am obsessed with Korean pop king, G Dragon(Kwon Ji Yong) and he has " Forever Young" tattooed on the front side of his chest.

G Dragon(Kwon Ji Yong)

This black 3/4 sleeve is split, making this such an unique top. The fabric is very soft and light and just perfect for this summer. I got this in a size S and fits good.

Top: Tee from G Dragon MOTTE
Clip: PMO
Jeans: Citizens of Humanity boyfriend crop
Shoes: B2

Speaking of my obsession with the Korean pop king, I went to his concert in Toronto and had a blast. Got a tee(from his MOTTE concert) and since I got a VIP package and got a few things in my goodie bag. The red PMO clip is one of the gems. My favorite jeans for the summer has to be this pair of boyfriend crop jeans from Citizens of Humanity. I got this from Winners and you can't believe the price. It was only $31 discounted a few times and original price was more than $135. It is of a lighter denim and distressed just the right amount at the right spots. Slip-on sneakers are my go-to this summer. This comfortable pink satin pair is from This rosy pink is the perfect shade and goes with anything. Very comfortable and goes with skirts, shorts and jeans.

Top: Printed Short Sleeve Tee from Zaful*

For a more dressier look, I got this printed tee from Zaful. I love a softer fabric and more colorful top for the summer. This is light and flowy. Very comfortable and flattering. Goes with solid pants or my favorite pj-styled pants from Winners. PJ-styled pants are so comfortable and I don't feel the need to peel off my pants as soon as I get home.

Do you opt for comfort for your summer outfits?

Current Skincare Favorites

I have slowly switched my skincare products. These are my current favorites and I have been using them for a good few months now and happy to report I have found some gems.

My favorite sheet mask at the moment is the G-Dragon Fantastic Shining Mask. It is a set which contains one sheet mask, an eye cream and a foaming cleanser. The sheet mask is for one-time use and I find the eye cream and the foaming cleanser is enough to give me a couple of uses. If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know I have been obsessed with using sheet masks in the past few months. I have tried a lot of brands and this one actually gives me results. After each use, I find my skin improves in texture slowly and brightens. It is also a hydrating one but not overly-sticky after you remove. Highly recommend the mask set.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is my second favorite product from the brand. My first would have to be the sleeping mask. Even though this one says it is a lip sleeping mask, it is more like a thick lip balm to me. The scent is amazing. It smells like strawberry. It is a rich thick balm which is perfect for the summer nights. In the cold Canadian months, this might not be moisturized enough though. Unlike other lip balms I have used, this one actually still last on my lips in the morning and I don't feel my lips chapped when I wake up.

SNP Bird's Nest Aqua Eye Patch is my first eye mask. Whenever I don't get a good night's sleep and I feel my eyes are swollen and my under eye area super dry, I pop the eye patches on in the morning when I am brushing my teeth and getting ready. 10 mins later, my under eye area feels hydrated and charged and not as swollen.

I am happy to find my new holy grail eye cream. I have tried a lot, both high ends and average-priced ones. This Innisfree Orchid Eye Cream is on the middle in terms of price spectrum. I got mine from and they have the best deals on a lot of popular brands. This eye cream is rich enough for me to use as a night eye cream which says a lot about how good this is. I usually layer a couple of eye creams at night to make sure my eye area is well-covered for the entire night for hydration. This one is sufficient enough to be used alone.

Summer months are the worse for my acne-prone skin. I find by applying the COSRX Acne Pimple  Master Patch, it really helps calm my pimples and usually by the second day, it would have drastically calmed down and on its way to heal.

My latest love is the Huxley Oil Essence. It is my first product from the brand and I have heard many good reviews about this brand. It uses minimal ingredients and all natural. If you have sensitive skin, I would highly recommend this brand to you. I have been using this essence for 2 weeks now during the summer. I don't like to use my regular moisturizer as I feel it is too rich and would clog my pores in the hot weather. Instead, I apply the essence in replacement of my moisturizer. It is a light texture oil. If you don't like rich oil, this one is definitely for you. The scent is amazing. Very light and refreshing, unlike other argan oil I have tried in the past. Perfect for the summer months. Not sure about if this is moisturized enough to be used alone in the winter months. I got this from Kmall24 as well during one of their sales and I got this for US $27.99(original price is $39.99).

I got most of my new skincare products from Kmall24 and I am loving my new found K-beauty online store. This is not a sponsored post and I am happy to say I have placed numerous orders over the past few months and their customer service is great and delivery time is around 3 weeks(which is the norm from Korea to Canada these days). They have regular promotions and I always wait for free shipping over orders with certain amount. If you are a regular customer, you would be be sent promo codes to take $5 or $10 off your orders depending on your membership level(you don't have to pay to join for membership but depends on how much you spend each month, you would be qualified to take certain $ amount off your next order within that month).

July Empties

Neutrogena Eye Make up Remover
Troiareuke Acsen A+ Cushion
Macadamia Deep Repair Masque
Urban Decay All Nighter
La Roche Posay Anthelios

Finished a few of my staples this month. New addition to my staples is the Troiareuke Acsen A+ Cushion. Hot summer months do not help with acne-prone skin and this cushion is such a big help to my skin this summer. Instead of piling up foundation on my skin to clog the pores more, I use this A+ cushion. It has a light coverage and doesn't clog my pores. Only downside is the price and I can only get it from online stores in Korea which would take a while to ship here. Price is a bit more than your regular Korean cushion foundation. It is appropriately CAD $50 and doesn't come with a refill.

Macadamia Deep Repair Masque is my hair staple. Yes, you can get it much cheaper at Winners. I'd rather use this in the tube than in the tub. The texture is a bit thicker and I find it more effective.

Another month full of facial sheet masks. One thing I find is once my skin is used to certain brands of masks, the effect is not as obvious as when I first used. I have stocked up quite a bit on these so I would have to finish all these before I go out and get some new brands.

One new discovery is the Cosrx Acne Pimple Patch. It consists of 24 different-sized patches which you can apply to your pimple. I stick one on overnight and 90% of the time by the morning, the pimple is less red and much calmed.

Bath & Body Works 3-Wick Candles:
Sugared Citrus Sorbet
London Tea & Lemon

London Tea & Lemon is my absolute summer favorite. Not sure if it is available this summer or not. Will have to go check it out next time I visit the store.
